Eyebrows - It sounds good. I guess I didn\'t want to break down our formula completely, since it seems to work.
Also, your comment didn\'t post right away because a moderator, like myself, had to approve it first. :o

I disagree with the disagreeance. A good two weeks late too. I think Ben's idea is a good one, in moderation. I think if the officers reviewed the possibilities of what could come from a decision such as letting in one non-Japan based anime show per semester, so long as that anime show is somewhat educational and worldly, might not be too bad of an idea. It would require attentive moderation so that shows like Digimon and Inuyasha could never ever ever make it to the ballot. A finely set rule list could dictate what makes it and what doesn't.
I disagree with the idea of opening the southern border and letting all the un-japan-related anime flood into Japan League and take our jobs.
That's my 2 cents.

No one's jumping on you Ben. We merely disagree.
And honestly, I don't feel bad for the whole 3 members of SAGA who don't have a place to go. They're welcome to come here if they want and if they don't like it then eh.
But really. Just because a few people disagree doesn't mean we're attacking you.

What I meant, or at least what I was thinking, was that at least one of the anime we showed wouldn\'t necessarily have to take place, or have
anything really to do with Japan. It was just a suggestion to get more diverse programs.

I don\'t want to merge with SAGA, but I can\'t help but feel bad for the members who may not have a place to go. And if things are great as is, then lets not change anything. Forget I even mentioned it. I AM SORRY.
It was just a suggestion, and I\'m sorry if I overstepped my boundaries.

Dealing with the pressure of trying to keep everybody happy can make a person crazy at times.

Those two pretty much summed it up.
I know you told me this at the last meeting, but quite frankly I wasn't jumping at the idea then either. Why break away from a formula that works?
I don't want us to end up like Saga.

Honestly, Ben, I agree with Xander. If a club fails, there's a reason for it. J-League has been successful as is. You don't need to change the rules, especially not so that they're similar to the club that failed. It's common sense.

I think that if Saga members want to join J-League, let them. But don't change J-League so that it's a mix of the two clubs. Leave it as it is. It's an awesome club and changing it risks taking away from it's awesomeness.

\”Given the unconfirmed status of SAGA for next semester, this “rule” is subject to exception and change.\”

Huh? Why are we changing the successful proven format? That\’s assinine. SAGA failed because of it\’s format and becuase people because disillusioned when leadership stared \”changing rules\”. We have a procedure in our constitution for changing rules based on a fair procedural process. As someone who been to both clubs I don\’t want JL to be more like SAGA. And I certainly don\’t want us to \’merge\’ with SAGA either.
